The aim of this event is to raise awareness about the vulnerabilities of children and to educate individuals, families, communities, and institutions about the crucial role they play in safeguarding children's well-being, in line with the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa and the Children's Act (Act No. 38 of 2005).

The event will unfold in two phases:

Phase One: Awareness

Children will be given a platform to raise issues related to Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) that they encounter in their daily lives. As the saying goes, "it takes a village to raise a child." Parents, individuals, and guardians will be reminded of their role in taking care of children and being responsible caregivers. This will be done through drama and dialogue, making it easier for children to express their views and provide input.
