Purpose of the Event:

• Educate communities about Tindluwa, the stage that follows planting and growing during the farming season.

• Reinforce the importance of continuity of indigenous land use and preserving the value of the land.

• Teach that harvesting is a reward for hard work, and profits can help families buy what they need, but first, they must work the land.

• Provide incentives to disadvantaged families (clothes and shoes from Ackermans) to motivate participation and emphasise the economic benefits of farming.
